If you are visiting this site from a school system browse the site for information on Internet Addiction, and new pages on Children and Violence.
Send the person responsible for monitoring and controlling school violence, and student suicide prevention to the site.
The
primary purpose of this site is to secure medical information for a family
member injured by this phenomenon.
The
second purpose is to use the Internet to research how the phenomenon is working
in the human population.
This
material may be copied and stored on your computer for your own private use,
reference off line, and research.
You
may not publish it in any form or place it on another website without
permission. You may not claim this original work and collection of web material
as your own.
You
may print out one copy of each page for the purpose of study and comment. We
realize that not everyone owns a laptop. The project could not progress if we
did not extend the right to print a single copy. Permission must be obtained to
duplicate and circulate printed pages. Each printed page must contain the word
"Copyright 2003," the revisions date, and identify the URL as the
source. Current pages are being revised to contain that information in HTML at
the top of each page. All pages should be considered as draft pages of a final
paper to be published when complete. The final form will be substantially
different from the appearance of the current site. Fair use for the purpose
of discussion, comment, or news reporting is recognized. The attribution for that purpose should be
‘VisionAndPsychosis.Net©.’
Please
email the URL of the site,
http://www.VisionAndPsychosis.Net,
rather than emailing extensive sections of text or whole page copies of text. To avoid confusion each person should download and print individual copies. This is to prevent circulation of material, which has been corrected or revised since your download.
Before quoting material,
the site should be checked for recent updates and revisions.
No
names are currently on the site. This prevents an adversarial party locating the
site before final publication.
It
is not possible to patent or copyright human physiology. Neither is it possible
to copyright an idea. This site attempts to open this research effort into an
Internet project.
This
phenomenon is so dangerous for those very few persons effected that they pose a
danger to others. ------
For that reason we want even non computer users to have the information,
but a common sense approach protecting Copyright must be maintained.
Anyone
is free to write his or her opinion and post it as an Internet document.
Independent thought and publication is advocated. Link to the site if you do
publish. Advise us so that we can cross-link. In this way the power of the
Internet and World Wide Web can serve as a tool of investigation.
We are currently updating all pages. If there is no "Revised" date at the top of any page, the revision is under way but incomplete.
Remember,
this site is original work. We are not assembling data copied from other
sources; there are no other sources. As far as we can determine no one has ever
evaluated this phenomenon before. As the work progresses, references may be
added. Textbook references should not be needed for understanding or proof.
