Recent college student she was featured on "Disappeared."  After telling family and friends she wanted to explore the northwest she embarked on a cross country road trip.

On the TV show it was revealed that her car, stored by police, had been rigged to run by starting it from under the hood by someone with mechanical skills.  But there was no sign of an altercation inside the car.  The car had been found in a remote area off the road down an embankment. The area is shown in the TV show.

Not mentioned anywhere else I could find was that she was a heavy computer user in a coffee shop back home in North Carolina. Such shops do not offer any peripheral vision blocking protection for computer users.
